I am a Lead Data Architect at General Mills, architecting the enterprise data foundation so it is ready for AI systems. Over 10 years in technology, my career moved from application analyst and project delivery lead to seven years as a data engineer building production pipelines, and now leading data architecture for AI readiness.
That combination matters: seven years writing data pipelines means I understand dirty data and broken edge cases, while my time in project delivery and architecture ensures systems are scoped realistically and built to last.
Teaching started before AI was the subject. My experience as a Young Adult Pastor taught me how to meet people at different starting points and make complicated ideas clear and actionable.
