I am a Lead Data Architect at General Mills, a speaker, and a systems builder. With more than 10 years of professional experience, my work has followed the same pattern: understand the problem, design around how people will use the system, and make it clear enough for them to act.
I have built training programs for more than 50 engineers and scientists, spoken to groups of more than 300, and created custom systems for organizations, people around me, and my own life. AI is often part of the work. It is not the point. The point is choosing the right tool and keeping judgment in the system.
Teaching started before AI was the subject. My experience as a Young Adult Pastor taught me how to meet people at different starting points and make complicated ideas understandable.
